It's been a while and for a ton of great reasons, but I wanted to start back up with saying I went back and finished drafting. I had to quite the first class and re-enroll. The instructor was horrible and we all just continued to be sick.
Anyway, this second class went better. I think I just felt more determined. It was just as hard, but I knew how to plan my time better. Anyway, here is a sample of some of my final drawings....enjoy! (Oh and the dark lines down the center are from joining two halves of one sheet of paper....long story, but they're supposed to be there, hehe)

Katie, you must feel fabulous about that! I am so glad you have returned, I have missed knowing a little of whats goin on with you and your family. Happy New Year!
Great job, Katie. What does this mean for the rest of your classes? Are you able to move on to something more interesting for you, or do you have to take more drafting? I'd be very interested in reading about what lies ahead. Thank you so much for making an entry. We've missed you! Once a week is fine with us, too. Love you—Linda
I do feel good about it. I feel like, for knowing nothing about it, I've come away with a great deal.
My next class is "Basics Of Interior Design"! Finally, an actual Interior Design class! All the others have related in some way, but this is the real deal. From what I can tell it will still be using a lot of the principles in drafting, but will incorporate drawing as well. I will also be making models and doing actual designs. The reading has been great so far, so I'm really excited.
As for your request, Linda, I will try to do at least once a week. It's hard to say what will happen when my class starts Monday, but I will try. :)
That'll be great!
